Siemens has been a leader in cutting-edge technologies for almost 160 years. Siemens offers a wide variety of products and services, including automation and control, information and communications, lighting, medical, power and transportation technologies. Siemens offers three different lines of cordless phones, the Gigaset, the 4200 series and the 4000 series.
Siemens Gigaset 2.4 GHz expandable phone systems deliver exceptional clarity, expandability, multi-user capabilities and superior convenience and productivity features for the home or office. Siemens Gigaset line of cordless phones was designed specifically for small office or home office use and for high-end consumers who desire a full set of features. These phones feature voice-announced Caller ID to let the user know who's calling without having to look at the screen. If the call is from someone in the phonebook memory, the user hears in their own voice the identity of the caller. The Gigaset line is expandable to eight handsets. It works as an intercom and allows call transferring, call conferencing and room monitoring. There are four mailboxes built into its integrated answering machine. Spread spectrum technology gives clear reception and the security needed for private conversations.
Siemens 4200 line of 2.4 GHz cordless phones is expandable with up to four handsets. This line includes voice-activated dialing of up to 20 names/numbers and voice announced Caller ID with 20 names/numbers. This line includes a fully digital answering machine that may be operated from the handset, rather than the base. This line of phones has a range of use between 150 and 1000 feet.
Siemens 4000 line of 2.4 GHz cordless phones is expandable to either three or four handsets. The top of the line 4000 series model includes an integrated digital answering machine that is operated from the handset. This line allows up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
